The mighty 12-piece No Go Stop are much more than a tribute to past glories, they are a living, breathing evocation of the life-force that is Afrobeat. Boasting an impressive repertoire of self-penned, new material, they have recently released their debut record "Agbara Orin”. Driving percussion, brass encrusted rhythms and epic instrumental solos set the pace while echoes of Old Soul from Marie Lister’s Vocals, catch the timeless quality of that ancestral funk sound. No Go Stop are truly on a mission to bring something exciting and new whilst staying true to Fela Kuti's musical mission to present the heart of jazz with the soul of Africa and keep you dancing till dawn.

The world famous New Orleans Jazz sound, in a light you’ve never seen before! Combining the powers of funk, jazz, hip-hop and soul, Broken Brass Ensemble act as urban brass ambassadors, pioneering on their euphoric groove. he band has an innate ability to orchestrate a New Orleans hot jazz sound, incorporating weird, wonderful and peculiar melodies, irresistible rhythms and an abundance of high passion energy, in fabulous superhero fashion. With origins based in the Netherlands, Broken Brass Ensemble have been firing up a storm all over Europe with an energizing and eclectic aesthetic, pairing punchy basses with hard-hitting brass. Selling out on CDs and vinyl from all their previous albums and consistently filling 300 capacity (UK) venues without promotion and on live reputation and merit alone, shows that underestimating this octet is out of the question.

Baraka have made Bristol their base for a very long time now but the are on the road touring the world more than they are at home.

The band is a unique combination of some of the finest musicians you will have experienced. Members hailing from Ghana, Senegal, Dominica, Trinidad and Southern Ireland. Each individual contributes his own sound and style - Reggae featuring a Kora and Djembe, Township with a Calypso bassline, Hilife with a Blues Harmonica, Soca with Balafon and Flute. Baraka is edgy, experimantal and innovative and incredibly entertaining!
